This report illustrates the hospital and surgeon mortality data for CABG for the years 2003 and 2004. The analysis includes the observed and expected morality rates and the risk adjusted mortality rate. These values take into consideration the risk factors of the patient population undergoing surgery with Valley Cardiac Surgery.
State Mortality Rate for CABG: 3.08%

Valley Cardiac Surgeons had observed mortality rates better than the State mortality rate. As well, the Valley Cardiac Surgeons had observed mortality rates less than the expected mortality rates for their risk adjusted patient populations.
Valley Cardiac Surgery recognizes the importance of quality outcomes and take pride knowing their risk adjusted mortality rates reflect excellence in patients of all risk groups.
