Ventricular Aneurysm

Bulging of the heart muscle (ventricular aneurysm) can occur after a heart attack. As a result, the heart does not pump as effectively. Symptoms may include shortness of breath, pain or irregular heart beats. Surgery involves patching the area or removing the involved segment of heart muscle.
