Ms. Aguilar received her Associate of Science Nursing Degree from College of the Sequoias in Visalia, California in 1975, and was certified as a FNP/PA from the University of California, Davis in 1999. Over the course of her career, Ms. Aguilar has served as a Staff Nurse at Alta District Hospital, a Critical Care Supervisor and Nurse at Fresno Community Hospital and since 1988, a RN and Nurse Practitioner for Valley Cardiac Surgery. Ms. Aguilar serves as the source of contact for patients and their families throughout the hospitalization and post-op phase, assists in placing and planning the cardiac surgery protocols and provides peri-op care including vein procurement and preparation. Ms. Aguilar is a certified Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant and Surgical Physician Assistant, Cardiothoracic Registered First Nurse Assistant and is certified in ACLS and BCLS.
